Let the trash talking begin!

I'm not gonna be around for this one -- I'll be at the Amsterdam ArenA watching Ajax take on PSV. But I may make it to a television in time to watch some of it.

My honest opinion? I don't think we're gonna walk away from this with three points, and probably not even one. Arteta is a doubt for the game, but I believe he's our only injury (out of the normal starters anyway). If we play anything remotely close to how we played against Blackburn, you can forget it.

Let's hope for another performance like the one at Villa!

I can't really see this being a win either, but hey gotta keep positive. I'll be in a room full of Liverpool fans too, which should be fun.

I reckon that we only stand a chance if Arteta plays. I hope Blackburn give them a physical game on Wednesday night so the're knackered.

Beattie looks like he is coming back...but I'd still rather have Bent playing.

( [R] for the Blackburn game)

liverpool 0 - 0 blackburn

well they couldn't score againt them either, at home even. Not sure what that means, but I guess it's really a 'must-win' game for pool this weekend. 1-1 the final on sunday.

I believe they have a chance to beat pool, as good a chance as most any prem club. But if Beattie's back from suspension, it will be his first game since, no? Otherwise I would said the same thing.

Judging from today's draw with Liverpool, Everton should win next game. But Liverpool are so damn unpredictable, one day they could run all over people, and the next, just not show up.

well, the RS tied blackburn 0-0, although riise, a key player, was on the bench. i don't know what that means for us.

We'll beat them again. Another inspired performance by the recently crowned Oceania POTY.

Just get down the pub on sunday and watch it.

did anyone watch the Premier League Preview Show

they showed a section of the UEFA rules and it said for the CL, if a team who is not in the CL qualifying spots wins the CL, they go into the CL next season and the team who occupies the last spot goes to play in the UEFA Cup.

if Liverpool wins the CL, which im pretty sure wont happen, it automatically kicks you guys out into the UEFA Cup. i hope it dont happen

Well the Champions League Quarterfinal draw made today. And Liverpool draw....

Juventus! I was hoping for Milan, but hey Juventus is good enough. Tough draw indeed. The winner of the Liverpool/Juventus matchup will play the winner of the Chelsea/Bayern München matchup. 1st leg is April 5th or 6th.

Isn't the guy who would decide a Red too?

Hopefully, the toffee's aren't paying attention to the news about Liverpool and the possible loss of a champions league spot. I'm not too worried about it since they have to go through Juventus and possibly Chelsea in the Semi's. All the focuse should be on Sunday's derby.

COYB!!!!

Take your point Sharpy, but it's still a travesty, the rule needs changing so that whoever wins it, is allowed to defend it and not at the expense of others, that is criminal :( and making it arbitrary, is even worse, reprehensible!!!

It would just mean making 1 group bigger, if it ever happens - it shouldn't be left to chance!
