Silvio Meißner (VFB Stuttgart ) has yesterday scored again. All two goals against Dortmund (2:0).
I think he plays a great season. 8 goals and 5 assists as a defensive midfielder is just phenomenal.
And his last season was good too!
Oh, and Benjamin Lauth (Hamburg) has been superb since his comeback after the winter break.
I say: Klinsi, take Meißner and Lauth!!

I just wanted to mention that i have him in my kicker manager game team :D.
I guess Klinsmann could nominate him, although due to his age he doesn't really has a bright future in the national team. As we play only friendlies anyway maybe it would be better to let a younger player gain experience.

Are u serious?
He's already 32 years old and we have more talented guys in our defensive midfield like Ballack,Frings,Ernst,Borowski and Engelhardt.
Lauth isn't ready right now, maybe in 3 oder 4 month.

And I have Lauth! But don't nominate him until after the season--I fear that he might get injured again if spread too thin.

Klinsi nominated Babbel and he is at the same age, I think.
And I think Meißner is better than Ernst! Leave Ernst loosing at Bremen and take Meißner.

Yes, that could be true. He should stabalize at Hamburg first, like Deisler at Bayern.
But its good to see him coming back so strong.

Well, I am not sure about Babbel either. And i would argue that Ernst plays quite a good season too. I have him in my kicker team as well, btw :D.

I would rather take Babbel than Woerns, thats for sure.
And Ernst was the reason we got that goal against Holland at the Euro.

Meissner is easily better than Borowskiand Engelhardt, and probably better than Frings too.

Amen about Worns...anyone is better than him for nomination. Don't forget that Metzelder also needs to get back to full strength.
As for Ernst...wasn't he the one that got beat on the cross to set up Ruud's goal?
Why not give Meissner a chance. It is all about who is playing the best football at the time needed...not who has the best potential...

Better than Borowski and Engelhardt, yes. Better than Frings? maybe. And better than Ernst, too.

I hope so, but he is at Dortmund. I hope he doesnt learn from Woerns, too much.

Klinsi usually thinks that way.

Borowski? Yes.
Engelhardt? Yeah, but he's a Gattuso-type midifield bulldog, whereas Engelhardt is a creative player. He has a nice free-kick too. Stuttgart especially should know that. ;)
Frings or Ernst? Hell no. Maybe he's better than Ernst at DM, but overall Ernst is a lot more talented.
And he's nowhere near as good as Frings is.

Well, Frings is continuing to disappoint me. Wow, that was a crap game from him against Slovenia. And yes he has a hard shot but he rarely is making a goal. Not only in the national team.
If Meißner continues to be that good, I hope Klinsi will recognize that.
