Well the time has come. 1:30pm inthe UK

Draw numbers are as follows:

1 Newcastle United
2 Manchester United
3 Arsenal
4 Blackburn Rovers

Well I guess the ideal draw is Blackburn but does anyone else just get that feeling that we'll be seeing United again? And not the one from Tyneside. I say bring em on though, our boys should be up for it after being robbed and then humiliated by those bastards already this season.

Yeah, I have that feeling too. In spite of the "randomness" of the draw, you know the FA would love to have Shearer in the final, just so it might actually draw big TV numbers, so they would want Newcastle to draw Blackburn and us to draw Man U. I also want to get them once more, though, because we owe them big, and nothing would be better than to insure that they go trophy-less this year!

I'm glad we got Blackburn, it's a pity that boh semi's though will be played at Cardiff. I thik it de-value's the final. I must say I prefer going to either old Trafford or Villa Park and leaving the final to Cardiff. I'm looking forward to it nonethe less. There will be plenty of tickets available for this, so get your wallets out and come over for the match!!

Why did the FA make this asinine decision to play the semi-finals in Cardiff?

To make sum cash, as this is the last time the final will be staged at the Millenium Stadium. It's going back to Wembley next season i believe.

It won't be decided for the next couple of days. I'm guessing during that week on the Wednesday or Tuesday......

The Wed. after the Semis is Chelsea away, so it would have to be a different week.

Good draw. Looks like a good matchup for the finals. I'm still pissed I can't be there.

I want to see Manure in the final and get one more chance to kick their AXX.

Would be the biggest final in years, and make everyone happy as it would be a return to the old days of this is all the two clubs are playing for.

Yeah a great final with the two greatest, non oil funded, clubs in the land.

so, any Chicago people want to go? $962 a person at the Copthorne Cardiff Caerdydd which is on a lake, 2 miles from Millenium Stadium. Flight leaves on April 14th at 5:05 PM from O'Hare and the return leaves Cardiff at 5:50 AM (ugh!) on monday

Actually IIRC, I think Arsenal had something to do with it. Wasn't there a last-minute push to change the semi-final games to Cardiff last year? The traditional semi-final venues have been OT and Villa Park. When Man U is in the semi-final, they are assigned to Villa Park, where they have a fantastic FA Cup record (they have won all FA semi-finals played there). As I understand, Arsenal was instrumental in making the switch to Cardiff this year...

Not for me. I want Man Utd. We played them even once, and lost. We were outclassed by them once, and lost. I want Man Utd.

See I was thinking that too. I would love to beat the team that beat us twice this year. I would want nothing more than to get revenge on the team that prevented us from winning the double last season.

But then, if they beat us in the final? I think I would cry. Yeah. It's quite possible that I would actually cry. And I don't know if I'm ready to handle that.
