Formation Survey for winger trainers :)

i've been considering changing from my current tactic of 3-5-2 with two defensive wingbacks and two offensive wingers. I don't think the fact that 90% of a good defensive wingback's skill comes from his defensive rating. I'd like to get more out of the winger aspect of a wingback.

I'd like to ask everyone what their tactics are? I'm considering a new tactic of 4-5-1 with the following:

2 offensive wingbacks
2 normal CD's
2 offensive wingers
2 defensive IM's
1 normal forward
1 forward playing inner midfielder
all playing under 'attack on wings'


1) has anyone that has played this formation had success?
2) what other formations have my fellow winger trainers had success with? :)
