Jermain Defoe wore the 'goal' edition F50+ for the first half today. He swapped to the punjab colourway after 45 minutes (he often does with new boots).

They're n ice boots. I've never had to break boots in, and I've decided on mystics lately, I don't think I'll have to break in a pair of boots a soft as that. :)

He won't have changed to break them in - I'm sure he trained with them.

He often changes boots if he hasn't scored, or has been having a bad day. He's probably more used to the punjab F50+ so went back to what he was used to so he feels he could play better.

So are these made from K leather entirely? Coz I don't see PDS saying so...

Yeah they are. Someone on here got them I think.

You see, I was just on 2 different Japanese websites and both said these are made from synthetic leather...

Oh really? Well I never saw anyone say K leather, just leather. As I said, someone on here owns them so hopefully he'll pop in and clear this up.

M2k i have just noticed the same thread by you on Soccerpulse. Maybe he changed at half time because the ground was too soft for FGs.

They are all k-leather. There is no mesh material and the black lines are embroided into the leather, no plastic like on the normal f50+s.
I've got them since 5th of march (they are already available in Austria :-) )

Oh alright, thanks for the quick reply!

Hmm, I was wondering, do these get dirty easily? And are they easy to clean?

(And I asked PDS just now about the release date and they told me it's been pushed back to May!!! They can't be serious....?)

Unfortunately I wasn't able to try them out because at the moment we have 1.5 metres of snow. I'll only wear them on dry, good pitches, because I want them to stay in good condition.

OK folks, I have solved the mystery regarding the material which the F50+ GOAL is made of. Thanks to Phil_stangl who took a photo of the tags that came with his pair. The boot is made of 100% synthetics, which is different from the rest of the F50+ series.

So PDS is wrong, AGAIN. =)

I wonder if it's the same synthetic material as the dragon pulses.

I guess it's Adidas going after the Nike Skin thing. As long as they keep up kangaroo leather I won't mind.
