Am I surprise? No. Jamie is just a typical Liverpudlian lad grown up supporting the local football club. What set him aside is that he is able to ply his trade at this great club in his heart and he is grateful for that. So I say Jamie, teach your buddy Stevie a lesson in loyalty. He needs that.

Carragher is in my opinion, the best defender in the premiership, with the exception of Campbell, yet he don't get the credit he shud.
I'd happily carry on going the match and watchin him for another 10 years.

Is he really only 27??
Anyway, that's a great story. They should name a building after him at Melwood or something.

Carragher is an excellent player and should be the captain of the squad IF Stevie leaves. I wouldn't call him the best defender in the premiership though. I've been very impressed with John Terry this season. He controls his backline very well and is a real threat to score from set-pieces. I would also put Rio Ferdinand slighly ahead of Jamie as well. That's not to say Jamie won't get there-I just think that those two guys are above him right now.

good to hear that i think after sunday he should go get a tatoo of the liverpool badge on his chest as much as we all know he wants it.
He is a good guy well terry and ferdinand are definitely better then him but if you try to think hard carragher has saved us too many times and stevie g should go for tuitions with carragher abt loyalty.
Well one player with consistency in the team.
