Damn I hate it when they want you to sign up on every fecking site.
And I work for Knight Ridder too, you think I'd be able to get my hands on a 'bypass' master login or something.
(KnightRidder owns KC Star amongst 30 odd other papers).
You don't usually have to sign up for every site. If you have a Tribune password for example, that works for all the Tribune newspapers...

Great site. Been using it for a little while now and its a big help.
Honestly still don't understand why people don't just register for the papers if they read the news thread every day...
No spam and no logging in everytime....

On soccer: Home sweet home-MetroWest Daily News (http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/sportsColumnists/view.bg?articleid=92984)
"First, a slight correction from last week's On Soccer. Concerning the discussion on what towns are being targeted as expansion sites for two new MLS teams in 2007, league commissioner Don Garber mentioned Toronto as the top candidate, then Seattle, Houston, San Antonio and Cleveland -- not Charlotte -- as other candidates for the second squad. Sorry for the error. ..."
Oh well, so much for THAT rumor.
However, no word on the slowing down of the alleged Memphis bid.

I heard Memphis has like, an amazing youth soccer base, plus all the immigrants in the area and all signs point to a successful franchise in Memphis.
ALL they need is a stadium and an IO.
memphis 2007, baby. ;)

True, I experinced the same thing.
However, I guess I've gotta do what I've gotta do to read my soccer news.

True. And as we know, that's all it takes.
ALL they need is a stadium and an IO.;)
Other than that, we look good.
Incidently, our "MemphisMLS" fund-raising committee has now raised well over $40.00, so if you're interested in contributing, just let me know.

I searched for the same headline on Google. Wire stories are carried by lots of news outlets, many of whom won't require registration. I think it would be better to post those when available.
