Will supporting USL Sounders help Seattle MLS?

Since the USL Sounders are owned / operated by the only group currently looking to bring MLS to the Puget Sound, I'd say coming out to 2005 Seattle USL matches is important to the cause.

If attendance takes a nice bump up then it gives Hanauer and Co. a little bit of momentum they can take into the conference rooms of Seattle-area businesses.

So...all you Seattle MLS "lurkers" who are waiting for "our team..."

Seattle area soccer fans definitely have an opportunity to send a loud and clear message that they'll support MLS soccer by attending as many 2005 Sounders matches as possible. Hell, I live in Los Angeles and I'm joining my uncle - a Seattle area resident - for at least five Seattle soccer events this season (Sounders vs. Vancouver on 6/25... Sounders vs. Portland on 7/8... Gold Cup First Round on 7/9... Sounders vs. Sunderland on 7/20... Sounders vs. Montreal on 9/9).

If Seattle area soccer fans show up in significant numbers for the Sounders' fourteen home games, the Gold Cup matches, the Sunderland friendly and the playoffs... well, it will send a message to the powers-that-be that the region is deserving of top-flight American professional soccer.
