England plays the US in Chicago in late May; then, they play Colombia in NJ on May 31.
:)
I hope Becks and Owen make it. Should be a great atmosphere to see the English side!

I reckon Becks and Owen will make it. Beckham for sure cuz he's got a claus in his contract that can let him play for England with out Real Madrid stoping him. Hopefully for USA fans Owen will come to. Even if they don't come i reckon it will still be a strong England team. Should be a good game. Can't wait, it'll be soldout i'm sure :)

YOu're probably right. Perhaps Liverpool and Chelsea players won't come if these clubs go far in the Champions' League. But Real's out.
There is a huge soccer fan base in the NY/NJ area. Any games involving big name clubs (Real, Roma, AC Milan, Manchester United, Juventus) ALWAYS draw large crowds. I've seen games involving all of these teams since 2002 and the stadium was filled every time. The fact that it will be the English national side will draw out many expatriate Brits as well as Irishmen and other Europeans.
Add in the Colombians and Latinos from other countries who love good soccer and you have a stadium filled to capacity.

Everyone knows the real reason the stadium will be filled is because the Chicago Fire are taking on the Metrostars in a massive early season MLS game....
