Is Tevez crazy? I think he is for not going to europe. I saw him play in the Olympics, I know, not great competition, but its obvious he has some skills. I think that moving to Corinthians will just hurt him because he isnt exposing himself to better competition. What do you think??

How much money does he make in Corinthians? playing in brazil is still playing in great competion. unless he wants to play in like a champions league for now corinthians is not that bad. it is bad because he went down. he was in boca juniors. would have been cool if he would have gone to america. they can certainly afford him :)

Going to Corinthians means going to the #2 team with more supporters in Brazil (#1 in Sao Paulo ) is a club with 35 millons fans .They paid him 24 millons euros and he is playing in the league that was 5 times world champion.
Things are not going well for him now but I can t blame him for going to Europe , money talk B/S walks .

Well, it looks like Carlitos Tevez managed to impress one of Corinthians most famous fans. None other than the president of Brazil.

When Corinthians first bought Tevez, President Lula (a fan of Corinthians) had said, 'he is just another player'. Now, after getting a close look at him, he says, 'Tevez is phenomenal'

This is not correct. Flamengo is the #1 team with supporters. But yeah, Corinthians is the #2.

Tevez had a hard beginning with a group in which he was the only outstanding player. But he's not lonely anymore. Now with Roger and Carlos Alberto feeding the attack, Tevez is proving himself as a very good player. He's a playmaker, a dangerous forward and does a lot of team work. He plays with what we call raça - Brazilians love it. So, he's doing all right.

Brasileirão (Brazilian League) starts next weekend. They will travel a lot, playing in five different regions against tough opposition, facing cold, tackles and competitive teams in the South, meridian weather and talented teams in the southeast, tropical in the central west/northeast/north, trying to adapt to every situation, from high skilled to hard worker sides. It will be a real test for this team. And I think they have a very good chance to fight for the trophy.

This is not correct. Flamengo is the #1 team with supporters. But yeah, Corinthians is the #2.Flamengo is in Rio. As the poster said - Corinthians is number 2 in Brazil, number 1 in SP.

In two years Tevez will be playing somewhere in Spain or Italy and we'll all forget about his little stint with Corinthians.

I pray he goes to Inter...Can you imagine? Teves, Veron, Zanetti...

DAMN!

Jugar con huevos.

pls educate

I dont exactly think of Brazillians playing con huevos. By That do you mean Brazillians like to play rough/hard. I thought that was contradictory to the Brazillian style of play.

When I I think of playing con huevos I think Argentina or Chile.

Funny thing, I don't see Brazilians playing with huevos either! :D

And no, you don't get it. Jugar con huevos basically means to leave everything on the field. It doesn't imply playing rough at all.

I thought the Corinthians were recently bought by someone (or group) who also owns a European team - And that Tevez to Corithinians was a step towards getting him onto that team - That was the original story (or one of them) - Any updates on that?
