Monterey's columnist apologizes for his comments

The columnist who attacked Municipal and our region decided to apologize for what he wrote after the game and said it was all in a moment of anger and fanatism. After Municipal's game against monterey in mexico, a columnist for the teams official website called Municipal a team of "cavemen", he went on to say they only needed to be given a stick, He went on to say Mexico was at a different level and dint deserve to play in Concacaf. He mentioned CentralAmerican teams as playing dirty and wanting to injure their "great players", and I thought the guys on Fox Sports were biased guess this guy beat them.

Just because we dont wear ponchos and colors that can be confused for a taco bell ad doesnt mean we arent cultured. Mty is a city that dates back 500 years...a lot of culture there. In fact...that culture is seen in Texas and in many parts os the southwest US.

I gotta disagree with my man, Various Styles on this one. Even though he get credit for apologizing, the columnist was being a pr!ck or he is a pr!ck. Point Blank. Switch the characters around. Say a US reporter and a Mexican club. Or a US or Spanish reporter and almost any Latin American club. You would have a recipe for a lot of justifiable complaining.

It's a loser's move.
