The ads for this movie (http://www.sincitythemovie.com) look pretty good. I've enjoyed every Robert Rodriguez movie I've seen.

Release data is April 1st.

This movie is going to kick all sorts of ass. One of the movies I'm most looking forward to this year.

Isn't this being called a "live action anime"? I am not familiar at all with the source material, but with the cast, director(s), and all the stuff I've read about it, my geek radar is up.

Saw the trailer on TV last night, looks great. Can't wait to see it. Opens April 1st in the US.

I feel you on that one. She's also in that upcoming movie about high school chicks who are secret agents, or something like that. I never got past the plaid mini-skirts in the photo.

I can't wait. I love the first serial Miller based the novels on. Wife and I are certainly going to see this one in the theater. The novels and the serial are available in .cbr format on plenty of torrent sites now if you'd like to check them out. Oinks has them and I'm sure I saw them on mininova, too.
