Very cool thread, more Yanks Abroad fodder, but a great read. It's definitely a Walter Mitty-style fantasy for a lot of us to go to some 3rd Division team in a small European country and play pro soccer. Of course I'm sure those guys are still pretty damn good. At best, I'll have to go over there and watch a game like that. Iceland third division... wonder how many fans they get to a game?
