Staab,

Please keep in mind that we do not charge a "membership fee," like ESC. The $285 covers you for the whole season, including any MetroStars promotions, like doubleheaders, etc. The Passport carries the same benefits as the other MetroMembership offerings through the MetroStars.

Incidentally, we just added two more Passport options . . . you can check it out at www.metronation.net

No offense but that is the cheesiest site ever. The Surgeon General thing is just stupid and for my money, Metros tickets are still overpriced. Why would I pay $285 for a Metro season pass when I can get Phillies tickets for the same? Just join ESC and buy tickets through them people.

Give this guy a break-he hasn't done anything wrong. He is just trying to promote his club or whatnot. If it's not appealing to you or it isn't upto your satisfaction, just don't sign up for it. Simple.

Well, I thought since maybe he didn't design the site, he might like to have an opinion on it. The whole "we're crazy and involved" theme just seems really contrived and not legit. That was my point. I was serious on my "no offense" line. My comments about ticket prices were in general, they are overpriced IMO, no matter who you get them from, not just MetroNation.

Tell me how you can get Philly's lower box seats for $17 a game?

Stop B!t@hing. If you don't like it then don't go join. These seats are cheaper than the normal season tickets of the same level.

My Phillies plan last year was a ticket to every Sunday home game. I had two tickets and it cost me about $500. The seats weren't lower level but they weren't nosebleeds.

Again, this isn't a complaint about MetroNation. It's about the ticket prices in general. MetroNation obviously (like ESC) has no control over how much the Metros charge. Get a grip.

Hey I wasn't the one who came here with a tampon stuck...

Again I asked how much you would pay for an equivalent ticket to the Phillies games.

I can only compare it to this area, not Philly, and a ticket to a Yankees game field level and in the outfield is $55 a game. I can't compare product, but you could go to three Metros games for the same price more or less.

I used to spend $5 to sit in the bleachers at Yankee stadium and guess what those days are gone.

By the same token, I am earning almost 4 times as much as I was then.

Got your grip yet?

Yankees Bleacher seats are $12. Still the best bargin in sports and I hate the Yankees.

Read above, I already said that I paid $500 for 2 Phils Sunday tickets.

You can't compare lower level (or field) level of Giants Stadium with that of a baseball game. It just doesn't compare. All tickets at Giants Stadium are lower level. My point is that $25 is a bit much for a sport that is still trying to find it's niche. But this is a discussion for another thread. We've (or I've) hijacked MetroNation's thread enough.

For Pete's sake! Take it easy on each other . . .

Some people LOVE our site, some people don't . . . even HATE it . . . No worries. We are not going to make everyone happy. Once again, to be clear, I think the prices that MFO are charging, at least for MetroNation, are very reasonable and your seats will be in the lower bowl (Section 115), if that's where you want to sit.

Bottom line is that some folks gravitate towards the ESC atmosphere, and others will gravitate towards the MetroNation atmosphere. That is all. I am sure that we between the two clubs we have missed yet another segment of the MetroStars spectator base, and maybe another club will pop up and we can have a fan club civil war between all three of us??? Sounds ridiculous, no?

As long as we support the same team, it does really matter to me, or Corey, at least that is the impression I get from him. When I read these boards, I know what to expect, and I am not offended. Anybody who was thin-skinned could not start a new fan club. However, I do wish people would reserve final judgments until they know a little more about whom or what they are judging.

You know . . . the ESC started somewhere, too . . . it is not easy, but I love it!

I think MetroNation is great and I love your website. (It's much easier to navigate than ESC and I like your style.) My gf and I plan to join your section for the May 21st game. GO METROS!

La Doce? I guess sometimes 'by the fans, for the fans' can get a little too caliente for MFO to handle. I always think of the ESC as full of piss and viniger, while LaDoce had a lot of cayenne in the mix.

MetroNation is full of what -- or is it too early to tell?

I think we don't really have a big enough fanbase for us to start forming "gangs" and turning against one another. Remember, guys, to focus your energy on helping the Metros beat the true enemy... DC Scum.
