Ever since the initial posting of "MetroNation is Born," there has been a "mixed bag" of reactions. Regardless, here is your chance to speak directly to the leaders of both organizations and hear for yourself how we plan to work together towards THE common goal, a MetroStars MLS Cup victory in 2005.

I know that I had initially indicated that this call would be toll-free. Unfortunately, I could not afford the toll-free service. That is right, lads! I am fronting this out of my own pocket, because it means that much to me that you have an accurate perception of what is going on.

On the flip side, if you have a mobile phone, it will likely be a free call for you. If you have trouble getting in with a mobile phone (although, I do not forsee it), try a land line. That is the best I can do.

Now, please keep in mind that this is NOT intended as a "gripe session." This is an honest outreach effort to answer your serious questions about either group. If the dialog degenerates, the call will be terminated immediately.

Here are the details, and on behalf of Corey and myself, we look forward to speaking with you.

Date: Sunday, March 20, 2005
Time: 2 PM - 3 PM EST
Dial in: 1-608-251-0745
Access code: 3890767 # (you will be on stand-by with music, until the host logs on)

I would like to thank Corey of ESC ('Eric' Supporters Club . . . if you were on the call, you would know what I meant by this . . . LOL) and all the other participants in the teleconference call this afternoon. Corey and I debriefed after the call, and we both thought it was quite successful. Even having met twice before this teleconference, the real-time dialog between Corey, myself, and you (the audience) generated some great ideas about how the two fan clubs can work synergistically; from enhancing the match-time atmosphere, to joint press conferences at strategic points in the season, to political action in support of the "Harrison Project."

I confirmed that we had 50 ports available prior to our teleconference session. People were "chiming" in (and out) seemingly randomly, but my best guess is that we had about 10-15 people on at one time at the most. So, port access should not have been an issue. I hope nobody experienced any difficulty in logging on. If you did, I apologize, and can only offer that you contact me or Corey, whomever your preference, for an update.

Again, thanks to Corey and the rest for making this a successful call. In fact, Corey and I discussed the possibility of conducting several more throughout the season for many different purposes, not the least of which might be some planned joint activities together.

I am very much looking forward to this season, as I do EVERY season . . . but especially representing MetroNation and working with ESC to support the MetroStars all the way to the 2005 MLS Cup.

Yours in Red and Black,

Marc Bernarducci
