In my book it is too early to think about another match, after the gut-wrenching loss to Bayern Munich, but here goes the last chance for Arsenal to secure any silverware!

We owe Bolton a beating for owning us the last few seasons AND this match is up at The Reebok...not exactly a place that has been kind to the Gunners.

I am going out on a limb here and saying the lads will handle their business and win 2-0.

Come on Arsenal, Come on!

Parlour and Keown......where are you, when we need you????

Although today's loss really hurts, there were some bright spots. I'm hoping Senderos gets another run out, and hopefully JAR gets no where near the touchline. Although Reebook has always been a tough place for the boys, I think we can regroup and pull of a win. I think 3-1 to the Gunners! Two from Henry and 1 from Robbie. Up The Arsenal!

Well done Catfish for getting another thread up so quickly. A very early start this one.......especially for you guys over the pond. I think a 3-2 to Arsenal will be the score.

A dissapointment to overcome but some players are coming into their own. Bolton, tough and commited though and never easy, we all know a 5-6 man midfield awaits us and a lot of patience will be needed. I like the look of a 2-1 here.

at least we know how Bolton will play and just need to prepare for that. Anyone want to guess how many empty seats will be at the Reebok this weekend? There were tons for the Bolton v Fulham FA Cup game. Not sure if I will make the Globe. I think we will win this one. I hope the whole teamis pissed off and takes it out on poor hapless Bolton

Good news - this one's on "free" TV, FSC beginning at 7 a.m. ET. It's a 2.5 hour slot, so make sure you set your VCR for long enough if you can't watch live - I imagine there's a little pregame thing.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet! I will be getting up at the crack of dawn or more than likely sleeping on the sofa, so I don't wake up my wife. She has to work Friday night.

If nothing else, Toure and Senderos will get plenty more experience defending against high lobs into the box. Hopefully, they'll be up to the task.

Just a little question, how is Quincy doing it at Arsenal. Have not seen much of him (I know he played 1 match). Can still remember him at Ajax where you could clearly see his talent. Is he better than V.persie or do you think he will get better than him.

He came on at the start of the second half in our FA match against Sheffield United and although he did not score, he immediately caused all sorts of panic in the Sheffield defense with his pace. His first touch needs to get a bit better but I suspect it will with more 1st team football.

I think he is a very different player than van Persie and thus wouldn't want to say that he is definitely better. He seems to be more the type to run at defenders with the ball (and without...into space), whereas van Persie...while good with his feet, holds the ball up more looking for that clever little pass or the quick turn and shot.

van persie is a technical master, just like bergkamp. quincy is no way better than him. i think i'm robin's number 1 fan, because i love his style so much. he's just getting used to the speed of the premiership but next season hopefully i expect him to produce and produce big. just like the other dutchman all those years ago.

I say 3-1 to the Gunners. I can see Arsenal then playing Spurs and the final against Utd.

I gotta say, common, I'm with you. Van Persie is still a very young man who happens to be extremely talented...just wait until he is 23 or 25.

Now that is chilling.

This is our chance to still get some silverware. I hope we play TH14 and the rest of the first team usuals to try and secure our place in the next round.

No prediction from me on this one other than to say that Bolton will go down.

We need this one boys, Sperz and ManUre await if we can get through Big Sam's oldster army. If we can keep a clean sheet 3 games in a row lets keep it going. Has Phillippe started all 3 of those games? I think this kid is going to make a big splash next season.

1-0 to the Arsenal with Henry netting the winner in the 70th.

gilberto?

that is a good question. he was on the bench today

He is going to give the boys a lift is he plays, Especially Paddy he is regular dominant self with Gilberto around. I think we would have done better if edu had played today.
I think Senderos playing a lot now will speed his development down the road. He is a beast on set pieces imagine how good he would be with sol around.

I really like Senderos development just over the last few weeks. He certainly is above Cygan already and has a lot of potential for more.

On the Gilberto playing idea, I hate it. Has he even played a reserve match yet? I don't have a problem with him on the 7 bench slots for the CL match but this is our best chance to win something this year and no way should he start and I'd be worried about him even taking up one of our limited sub slots.

I'm not going to make any predictions because we seem to suck whenever I post a prediction for a win and I'm doing poorly on picking scores the last few weeks. Weird thing is that I can still pick players since I'm doing well in the fantasy footy leagues.

Come on, Gunners!

Revenge is a dish best served blah, blah...
