Really, you couldn't have picked a worse time.

We'll get back with you...

Well, most of us "really big Liverpool fans" are a bit engrossed with the results of the Champions League match today.....

Gee I hope we go through. Perhaps in a rout, even?

If your "h" would have been Hereford, I would have gladly given you (and Ronnie Radford -- my favorite goal of all time) the lyrics.

But, like the above poster with the username similar to the number of goals we scored against Leverkusen over two legs, you'll have to wait.

Outside the Shankly Gates
I heard a Kopite calling:
Shankly they have taken you away
But you left a great eleven
Before you went to heaven
Now it's glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Chorus:
All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Outside the Paisley Gates
I heard a Kopite calling
Paisley they have taken you away
You led the great 11
Back in Rome in 77
And the redmen they are still playing the same way

All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

FYI, my last name is one letter removed from Ian Paisley's. And supposedly, before my ancestors moved across the pond, the name was spelled the exact same way. I guess I was born to be a Liverpool supporter:D

If it's Ian Paisley it's more likely you'd support the Glasgow huns :D

I think you mean Bob Paisley ;)

True enough. Although it does get a full outing at quite a few away games.
