Matchnight/The Fire Alarm says US vs England in Foxboro this summer. They also say England will play Mexico in Chicago on May 28th.
Because the US play Costa Rica in Salt Lake City the next weekend, I bet the US/England game will be the weekend before, the 21st/22nd, or maybe the Wednesday before, the 25th. (disclaimer I did not check England's schedule)
This would probably include a FULL US team - Euros and MLSers...wouldn't it because the June 4th and 8th games are full FIFA international dates?!
I hope England brings a close to A team!

Wow - Big News.
I wonder why Giants Stadium wasn't the chosen location.

As the tired chant of "we don't give a **** about you stupid Yanks, you don't deserve to play with us" continues to ring across England. *snicker*

Big news. England have a quality side, but I feel we can compete. Boca always play SWP tight. Eddie Lewis is physical enough for Gary Neville. DMB against Ashley Cole. BMB in the air aginst Cambell and ferdinand. No answer for LD. But, we have no answer for Jermaine Defoe. Their middies could eat us up if we're not careful. We'll need to run a 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2. if Sven comes out with the 4-3-3 again than 4-4-2 will be the answer.
Date and time is all I need
Theres no way in hell I'm missing this one!

and where, apart from in your insecure mind, has the second part of that statement ever been said?
The first part is true - it wouldn't even occur to the average fan here to even momentarily consider the US as being rivals, but that's not a snub, just that in footballing terms there just isn't any footballing rivalry between the two sides.
No mention of it on the FA site yet.

I really really really hope this is true. I'll even go to the Morgue (aka the Razor, foxboro stadium) to see this game if it happens and I would expect a big, big crowd. It will be soooo nice to see a team that isn't from Italy or Portugal for a change.

Somebody needs to confirm this. I have been hearing rumo(u)rs of England coming to the side of the pond since Guy Fawkes Night. Doesn't anyone on the board know an FA or USSF rep?

You know what, sometimes I love to exaggerate, but your penchant to come on to the US boards and attempt to dispute just about everything goes a long way to confirm everyone's suspicions about you guys over there.

Well, there ought to be a rivalry for all the obvious reasons, so let's get this party started. The US is now good enough to be able to win often enough to make it real.

This has been a rivalry since 1776. I'm so giddy -- the **************s are coming . . .
