All, in order to further evolve my US Supporters site, i'm looking for people who attend the USMNT matches to write an article on their experience incluive of pictures.

Essentially I'm looking for first hand accounts of US Supporters traveling to watch the USMNT or an US Soccer player and the cultural value of both the city, tourism, stadium, the game, and general experience. We're looking for creative and stylistic writing, photographs, highlights of bars attended, critiques of hotels, tourist sites visited, ambiance of pre- and post-game celebations, etc. Think Travel&Leisure meets Sports Illustrated.

If anyone is going to todays Colombia game or the 19ths Ecuador game and could put some words to paper, I'd be most appreciative.

Check out the US Supporters Travel Site (http://esc32.midphase.com/~kotasm/worldCup.html) for additional information.

While part of the article should tie to the game, we're not here to compete with Yanks Abroad, they do a fantastic job of game reporting. We're here to support the fan-base, the atmosphere, and the travel experience.

Anyone thinking about going to Germany for 2006 should check Mike's site out. It's very helpful.

Mike you are welcome to cull any of my stuff from threads and put it on your site. I claim to copyright to any of this, coherent or otherwise. If it gets one more US fan to a game, it will be worth it. Please tell me what you needs are and I will try to punch up some material for that topic.

I'll see if I can cobble together a short writeup about what I experienced at the US/COL game. It was my first USNT match, my first USMNT match, and my first soccer match experienced in person. I'll give it a shot.
