International Friendly
USA v Colombia
Titan Stadium -- Fullerton, CA

Time: 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET (and 2:30 p.m. Melbourne time for me)
TV: No live TV -- and as far as we're aware, nothing tape-delayed, up to this point. If anyone knows of anything, please post it within.
Webcast: Once again, please post a link and information if you have concrete details.
So how can we follow it?: The matchtracker on the USSF's official site (http://www.ussoccer.com) is going to be our only way, apparently, to have a view of the match in actual real time.
AIM Chatroom: Yeah, sure, why not... nonetheless, it takes pressure off the new servers. :) Invite yourself to a room entitled BigSoccer USA Friendly. If that one fills up, then invite yourself to a new subsequent room entitled BigSoccer USA Friendly II, and so forth.

Rosters: Colombia's roster was published a couple of days ago on one of the daily updates from the USSF's site (http://www.ussoccer.com/news/fullstory.sps?iNewsid=157471&itype=113&iCategoryID=0)...

Goalkeepers (2): Juan Carlos Henao (Santos Futebol), Breiner Castillo (Aucas)

The USA's roster is based on a camp list (http://www.ussoccer.com/news/fullstory.sps?iNewsid=155098&itype=113&iCategoryID=0) announced at the end of February...

GOALKEEPERS (3): Jon Busch (Columbus Crew), Joe Cannon (Colorado Rapids), Kevin Hartman (Los Angeles Galaxy)
DEFENDERS (6): Chris Albright (Los Angeles Galaxy), Nat Borchers (Colorado Rapids), Frankie Hejduk (Columbus Crew), Ritchie Kotschau (Colorado Rapids), Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew), Eddie Pope (Real Salt Lake)
MIDFIELDERS (9): Clint Dempsey (New England Revolution), Eddie Gaven (MetroStars), Kyle Martino (Columbus Crew), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado Rapids), Clint Mathis (Real Salt Lake), Brian Mullan (San Jose Earthquakes), Ben Olsen (D.C. FORWARDS (4): Brian Ching (San Jose Earthquakes), Ed Johnson (F.C. Dallas), Pat Noonan (New England Revolution), Taylor Twellman (New England Revolution).

If anyone's got info on any cuts to this list, please post accordingly.

Also, go ahead and post any predicted lineups and match predictions.

With only four defenders in camp Albright, Borchers, Kotschau and Marshall maybe BS will go to a 352

Just checked the FSC Website, they have two CONCACAF Champions Cup games with DC United and the Kansas City WIZZZZZZZZZZ playing, so no TV looks like.

why would they televise such horrible game. colombia will be playing with players never heard off and usa will playing with horrible players as well.
as result i would say colombia 2 usa 1

It's probably telling that Bruce let Zavagnin and Olsen out of this friendly to go play with their club teams - I'm sure Bruce had the pull to keep them, but perhaps even he doesn't think this match is more important than MLS establishing itself well in the regional club championship.
That said, I'm not a DC or KC fan - and I'd much rather see any version of the national team line up against a respected opponent.
I would tape the Mex/Argentina match, though - for scouting purposes! Gotta see if they're continuing the momentum from the Costa Rica game.

I just called TM & they are no longer selling tix online or via phone. The USSF site sez that tickets can be bought at Titan Stadium up to 3 hours in advance prior to kick off for cash only. I called the Titan Stadium Box Office & their voicemail says that they're NOT selling tickets and to call TM. WTF IS GOING ON??? AND WE WONDER WHY SOCCER IS LAGGING IN THIS COUNTRY

CSUF and Titan Stadium are not handling ticket sales. It's handled by the Fed. On a Wed night, I expect there will be tickets available.

are you saying that the "fed" will be selling tickets at the stadium? it never occurred to me that they wouldn't be, and i was willing to take the risk that it wouldn't be sold out, but now i'm not so sure that i want to make the long drive in traffic.....

and what is this post referring to 3 hours before kickoff? is it that tickets won't be available until 3 hours before, and then will be afterwards???? when i initially read the post, it seemed like it was saying that tix would only be sold until 3 hours before and then no longer. it all seems very odd.

to answer some of my own questions, here is what it actually says on the ussf site about tickets:

"TICKETS STILL ON SALE WEDNESDAY: Tickets ranging in price levels from $15 to $40 are still available on the day of the game at at all Ticketmaster centers throughout Southern California (including Robinson’s-May, Wherehouse Music and Tower Records). Tickets will go on sale at Titan Stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m. and only cash will be accepted. There will be no phone or internet sales on Wednesday."

Soccer Audio lists this site as the one that carries Colombia NT matches. So we might be able to get spanish audio here:
