Thanks guys, means a lot.

Yeah, the SchwabenSturm member who emailed me helped me out a lot. They're actively anti-fascist as well. :)

Great site but I have to say some something about Hannover 96.
The "Rote Kurve" is not really a "fan group", it's more like an association that takes care of the fans and wants to bring all fanclubs together under one roof.
The German word is "Dachverband", don't know how to translate it.

People can be memeber of the Brigade Nord 99 and be in the Rote Kurve.
You should replace them with the Ultras Hannover (http://www.ultras-hannover.de/).

The BN was part of the Ultras Hannover till 2004.
But as the BN has a different philosphy about how to support than most UH members (not political) there was always trouble that led to psycial violence between the BN and UH eventually after a game vs. Hertha Berlin in february 2004.
From that day on the BN wasn't a part of the UH anymore and also changed their location.

The Ultras are standing in the "Nordkuve" in the upper level, the Brigade Nord are also in the "Nordkurve" but down in the lower level.

Right now both groups don't really like each other but there's hardly any violence between both groups.

The Ultras are pretty non-political I'd say, the BN is more "ultra" so to say. "Against modern football" and lean a bit to the left side of the spectrum.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't tell if Rote Kurve was a fan club or what you described.

I can never tell with German sites whether "Ultras (insert team name here)" is a group or an umbrella group for all ultras.

How do you say "First Tier" and "Second Tier" in German? For example in Italian it's Fila Una and Fila Seconda.

I think Hannover has a friendship or two. Do you know what they are?

EDIT: I'm also looking for translations for "Old Groups" and "Other Sites." As in other websites/links, Altri Siti, Otros Enlaces etc.

"First Tier" = Unterrang (BN)
"Second Tier" = Oberrang

Hamburg.
It's not as big a friendship as Schalke has with Nürnberg, or Braunschweig with Basel and Mannheim, but it's growing each year. (I think most Hamburg and Hannover fans that are not member of a group don't even know about it)

Here's a link to the UH site with pics of 96 fans supporting Hamburg and vice versa:

"Old Groups" = I don't really know what you mean with this, the actual translation would be "alte Gruppen"
Do you mean groups that don't exist anymore? Then it would be "ehemalige Gruppen".

"Other Sites." = "andere Seiten" or "andere Links"

Thanks! I'll go with "Ehemalige Gruppen," that's what I meant to say.

BTW, I gave you pos. rep but screwed up the message. :D

Hehe, thanks.

BTW,"Feinde" of Hannover: Braunschweig, Cottbus, Bremen

And one last thing before I go to bed, the site http://www.das-fanmagazin.de/neu/ that you listed on the "Germany" page is a Hannover 96 fan-page so it should be listed there.

Well, Eintracht Braunschweig (basically everyone):

Freundschaften: Mannheim, Magdeburg, Basel
Feinde: Hannover
Kurve: Südkurve

...And they are the best of the stuttgart ultra groups. Just to help out a little, we do have a small friendship(or alteast some of our ultra groups do) with Mainz.

That's an excellent site. Maybe one day somebody can host it somewhere that does it justice (i.e. without pop-ups and ads everywhere.)

Seriously, well done.

Thanks.

Yeah, if the site is successful I plan on moving it to a real domain with more webspace. I have a pop-up killer though so it's not as noticeable.

Once I feel there is enough content on the site in terms of information I'll decide what else to add. Maybe photos of each group, songs (MP3s/wavs) or even videos. It would be harder to do but I could also try and get more detailed history of each group from people in the know.

So far I've only used up 1.26MB of an alotted 20.MB.

Any suggestions are welcome.

So Eintracht Braunschweig, Energie Cottbus, Werder Bremen and Odense are all friends of both the Brigade Nord and Ultras Hannover?

No, Braunschweig, Cottbs, Bremen are not friends but enemies (Feinde).

Maybe you should email the Brigade, I don't want to talk for them.

No idea why I said that, I had the info right on the page. This is finally driving me crazy. :)

OK, I'll try and contact them.
