This ought to be interesting. Fulham vs. MLS at Crew Stadium. Who knows, maybe Coleman will find it in his heart to start McBride that day.

Anyone know if it's part of a us tour for Fulham? Or is it just a one-off?

It is a one off. If you are a Fulham fan, we at FulhamUSA.com are going to try and organize a block of seats for those cheering for Fulham. If you are interested, email me at tom@fulhamusa.com

Cheers!

No disrespect intended, but i hate this idea.

This implies that a game with the "very best" of MLS will be competitive with a Fulham side not that far above relegation. I think at least half the MLS teams could match up with Fulham very well and win 5 out of 10 times. I'm sure most of you will disagree but i will stand by my statement.

I would much rather see Fulham do a 3 team tour as many other EPL teams have done and play a real team and not an All Star team.

Cheers,
Jeff

I completely disagree with this statement. While Fulham is not close to being the cream of the crop in the EPL, they are still in the best league in the world. What makes you think that most MLS teams could beat them 5 out of 10 times? Is it because they are in 15th place right now?

I am not saying Fulham is the most exciting team in the league, but they have numberous international players on their squad and will give the MLS all-stars a great game. I think you underestimate the strenght of not just the top teams in the EPL, but all teams in the EPL.

While the MLS is improving every season, do not just assume that they are gonna beat Fulham easily.

Your point is well noted, but a completely healthy Fulham side (Fulham have yet to start their best 11 fully fit this season) would wreck any MLS side. You can't just look at the players and compare them 1 by 1, you have to look at the pace of the game and nothing is faster and more physical than the EPL.

The All-stars (which probably won't be all the best players to be honest as some will being wheeling and dealing their careers during that time) will be a tough opponent for FFC.

All in all, this is a great thing for Fulham and for the MLS...a great relationship should out of this and I personally will be there.

what makes you think that mls teams can beat bottom half epl teams when the best mls teams struggle against mexican teams in the concacaf cup each year?

mls players individually might match up 1 on 1 like mike said, but the total awareness of what is happening on the pitch and the speed of the game isn't even close.

in form mls all-stars vs pre-season healthy fulham will be an entertaining match that you shouldn't miss.

I have seen Fulham play last summer at there opening game (outstanding game) and they can play well, but I do belive that the MSL will field the best team ever as a matter of National pride. so lets just waite and see if the :D 5 out of 10 statement stands the test.

This year has been a tale of two teams. At times this year, they've barely played like a Championship side, let alone a Premiership team. At times they've played high quality soccer, but at other times, its utterly disappoint. Fulham has dealt with a number of injuries and presumably for this game the team will be able to field their full squad. If Fulham plays like it has in some of their games this year, I could imagine them struggling against some of the better MLS sides...
