Eircom and Opel on irelands jerseys, commercials on national team jerseys are a no-no, this should have been forbidden by the FIFA.

O well I was unaware of that, but if that's true, I guess I see your point.

Which is why in a cup tie between Arsenal and Fiorentina, played out in Firenze, the home side asked Arsenal to wear their home kit rather than the yellow/gold with navy short away kit... even though that would force Fiorentina to forego their traditional purple ("Viola") and wear their all white stripe... because Arsenal's home kit had "Dreamcast" but "Sega" on their away kit.

Other worst ever sponsors?

Dannon for Juventus in the 1990s...imagine the mighty Juventus sporting a yogurt brand on their shirt.

NTL for Newcastle a while ago. The black and white stripes were incongruent colorwise with that neon-green logo for the now defunct NtL.

It's pretty disgraceful to have your NT's jersey with damn advertisements. I wonder if the Irish people agree.

Ye i agree. I have only ever bought one of there jerseys and it's only because of the sponsor. I think it ruins the whole jersey.....

Not technically the sponsors fault but how horrible was the chelsea away strip 94-96.
