Hi mods, I couldn't find this anywhere else so feel free to delete or merge.
When I got home today there was a message on my phone from Brian Carroll talking about season tickets and where I should call. I know these things are usually recordings but the message had my family name - and it was without a glitch or pause like "peronalized" recordings have. Pretty cool marketing.

Boy, it's a good thing you didn't list your number with the federal telemarketing "do not call" registry! :D

If you've bought something from a company they can call you for awhile.

It sounds like MLS is getting better at this. A couple of years ago, I gave the Colorado Rapids my phone number (I know, stupid) while buying something through an on-line auction of theirs, and for years after I got phone calls notifying me of Rapids games and other events. I even got a call from Cobi Jones telling me he was coming to Denver for some sort of grudge match(!). I probably should've called and asked them to delete me from their list, but it too funny to be reminded that they hadn't noticed my 202 area code. I haven't heard from them in a while, so I think they must finally have gotten the idea.

I received a phone call from Jason Thompson (#22). It was definitely not a recorded message. I guess some of the guys were asked to help out. I wonder if they get paid extra for making these calls?

I'm sorry. I thought this was going to be one of those translation threads.
Carry on.

I'm waiting for a call from Freddy.
Maybe it will be a "drink and dial!"
