It looks like this company is definately going after preds, and they are really pushing the need for having sg, fg, and hg. expensive...?

They aren't bad. I wouldn't buy them. They have a bollocks logo and they remind me of these(which I like).

Guys,
The Nomis boots are really interesting. I have lived in Australia for three years now (ex-UK) and they are launched over here.
The wet grip ones have a really weird alien like texture to them and they grip like anything in the wet - you have to see them to believe them. I chose these as I am down in Melbourne where it does rain a fair bit.
I did see the dry grip ones in the shop as well. They are very nice looking in the flesh - we get a lot more colour variation than you guys seem to!!!!! But without doubt, they seem to just grip to a soccer ball......in comparison the predator pulse boots have no real grip. It is very eye opening I must say.
But you know what was really interesting - no blisters!!!!! These things feel like slippers!!!!
I reckon they're pretty good. Try them before casting judgement. Oh well back to a few cold beers I guess!!! :D

I am confused. What's the difference between dry and wet grip if they both offer better ball control!!??
And also whaz the different between the 75 pounds and 110 pound models?

All I know is that the coatings on the boots are suited to dfferent conditions. The wet grip boots are optimised for grip in wet conditions and the dry grip for dry conditions. The marketing goes on about the analogy to car racing tyres (i.e. dry tyres and wet tyres).
In honesty having the grip demonstrated in the shop, the wet grip boots were my pick because of wet conditions we get down here. If I were living in a more northerly part of Oz I would have picked the dry grip for sure. Interestingly enough, all the AFL and rugby season games have just started over here and a lot of the top players are wearing these boots.
I think the prtice difference comes from either being cowhide or K-Leather. I bought the K-Leather ones because kangaroo skin is the best....always has been and always will be in my opinion. But like I said you have got to try them on. They are just so lightweight and comfy!!!!!!

Well I haven't seen anywhere except for that ACA sports website that has them, so it is pretty difficult to get a fitting!
Does anyone have the official website of this Nomis brand?

I tend to keep an open mind to new things. =)
And I don't really like synthetic boots except for Vapors.

website is nomisfootball.com but at the moment it is only a frontpage at present.
In my opinion they look pretty flash - exactly the opposite of cheap - like I said before the pictures don't do them justice. I am very pleased with mine. I do know that none of the boots are synthetic.....they are either cowhide or K-Leather from the famous tannery Packer Leather in Brisbane.

The blue ones are ok but I agree with some that they look a little cheap, I think it's mainly the logo that makes them look cheap. I would never get these boots though.
