What happened to this club? I just saw the OL Nordrhein table and it appears they have ceased operations. I always had sort of a soft spot for this club--despite some of the worst fan support in the 2.BL and being a distance number 2 in the city (some might even argue that Viktoria was #2), they were perennials in that league up until a few years ago, I think. I never knew how they did it. The classic underdog. For those US fans out there, Jovan Kirovski played briefly for this team (on loan from Dortmund, IIRC).

They had a rich president, Jean Löring (who recently died), who eventually ran out of money.

And they had never a lot of fans, they did play in the 2nd Buli somethimes before an att. of 500.
