Would you like to be a part of the new and exciting "Team MetroGirlzz?"
It's a dream job for outgoing, energetic and athletic sport lovers.
Team MetroGirlzz will consist of 11 individuals who will have the privilege of representing the MetroStars in the community. Team MetroGirlzz will bring excitement to everything that's "Metro". Team MetroGirlzz will represent the MetroStars with pride and passion while building a connection with soccer fans, clubs and the general audience.

Djorkaeff starts the season as a forward, slides back to DM by May as it becomes apparent he has nothing left, and then is named manager of the MetroGirlzz by July.

I noticed in their job description they specifically note that there is close engagement with Metros fans and yet they neglected to mention that you need a strong ability to suppress your gag reflex.

Didn't DC United make a similar announcement at the beginning of last year? Though, I don't think the announcement specified male or female. And, I think it was just tied to game day activities.

That was for game day greeters (the girls that handout the Freekick magazines and paper airplane/confetti material)...if I remember specifically it asked for college aged females, and I have no complaints with that :D

Apparently they weren't all that successful though because I often had a older guy listening to headphones handing stuff to me.
