Okay... here it is...

Funny enough, I was working on mine this weekend and had to run to the dealership to pick up a light-bulb for it. They had the new GS's there, which were pretty good lookin' cars too. But I guess the IS's are to hit the US sometime in the fall. While this obviously looks different from the concept - the concept was also a two door instead of a 4, and there will be a coupe and convertible released probably in 2006 or first part 2007.
Also - this is the European model, so the horsepower's a bit weak by US standards at 205. That's even a few ponies less than the current IS. But again with the coupe coming up I imagine they will release it as a supercharged all-wheel drive vehicle pushing around 300 horses to rival BMW's M3 models and Audi's Quattro.
On a separate note, I was in the car lookin' mood anyway so followed OGHT's advice and took a deeper look at the STi's - first hand. My father was with me that day and he hated the rear wing but loved the front end. But... having seen one without it, admitted that the vehicle needs it after-all - nevermind that the wing aids performance. It's a funky car and I definitely dig it. I also like that they're startin' to go down a bit in price. :) Also headed up the road to take another look at the 350Z'z again and all I can say is... Thank God I waited. The car just lost it's luster with me as time went on and I still like it, it is a beautiful car, but I don't feel the same and even now look at the price and say 'no way!' for the sheer practicality of it. So between the three, right now I'm still really digging the STi or even just the WRX but... I actually developed a better appreciation for the one I've already got and will probably keep it for another few years. I think the Lancer Evo's are ugly as sin.
