Hi, I am just wondering whether anyones uses Predator Pulse FG (or even SG with the 10mm studs) on astroturfs.
I wore a pair of black Pulse last year on astro and that pair last for 3 games before the leather came off.
I am planning to buy the Pulse soon again but I will be playing on astros too. I just wondered whether anyone had experienced anything like what I have with the Pulse, to see whether it was me being unlucky or is it really not a good idea to get the Pulse again!
Thanks.

i had the old pred mania and i used them on astro and after a few games the sole on the bottom started to come away because of all the little rubber things getting in under it and they started to build up and when i took them out they'ed left a gap between the bottom of the shoe and the studs

I used to wear my pred champagne manias on astro, I didn't have any rubber things on it though. Now I wear my vapors on astro, and I always wear moulds on astroturf pitches. I never got any leather peeling off of mine, or the sole coming away. Problem is, even if it IS a manufacturing fault, you wont be able to return them to adidas, because they will blame it on you wearing your boots on the wrong surface. :)

I have a question about that.. will adidas take back any boots? I have predator manias, and the bottom separated from the leather and was wondering if they would take them back or something.

You could try it. It would have to be a manufacturing fault though, and not from over wear or you not looking after them properly. How long have you had them? :)

I wore them for my senior year in high school. about 15 games, and training. I don't see that as over wear, because I've had a pair of AZT II's that I've been wearing for over a year, and they're fine.
The predators started to tear about 5 or 6 games into my season.(it's not terrrrible, but I stopped using them for fear that the next time i used them, they would completely fall apart) I cleaned them often, took good care of them. Dirt just found a way to clump into the seam of the boots there, and if I left it, it would get worse.. but if I removed it, it would refill making it worse. Lose lose situation.
