Ecuador 1-0 Brazil (2004)
Portugal 2-1 Brazil (2004)
Norway 2-1 Brazil (1998)
France 3-0 Brazil (1998)
The point of this thread is to question this:
If brazil have so many good players, and i am not questioning that they do, shoudn't they just completely dominate world football?

DiscussAs you may know Football isn't black and White, They're a great team with great players but its not as if they're 10,000,000,000,000 miles ahead of everyone else in the world. Teams are going to play there best against themand about the part of dominating world football, they are the world champions and they won copa america with a B/C team so what more can they do at the moment? good post btw :)

On their day they are the best in the world, there world ranking proves it, the 5 world cups prove it, they are also the holders of the world cup. However, it is not possible to win every single game you play, heck Chelsea lost and tied to Man City this year, but on the long haul the probably have the best win0lost-tie record. You have to keep in mind it is very easy to get up for a game vs Brazil, a lot easier than getting up for a game against the likes of Chili.

They have great offensive players, but defensively they're far from being outstanding. Any team can take advantage of that weakness. Evidently, teams like Ecuador, Portugal, Norway and France did.

Plus look at your sample. Four games in 6 years.... lol, I think that speaks for itself. If those games had all happened in the same month or so then I could see your point but like "Big George" said, you can't expect them to win EVERY game.
And I'd like to take this time to point out the fact that Brazil have never beaten Norway.
Norway 2 - 1 Brazil (1998)
Norway 4 - 2 Brazil (1997)
Norway 1 - 1 Brazil (1988)

all i have to say is
no team can be undefeated and never ever lose its impossible
brazil win (most of the time) when it matters
when its friendlies, we dont play with the heart like other teams might

All teams lose. Simple as that. They have great players, but so do other nations.

Brazil have won less than have of their WCQ games this year. Is this normal?
Seems like great teams have problems in WCQ matches - I don't know though. Some one give me info please :D

Not really. Even though they're great defensively and also in the midfield, they just lack something in the offense (I mean the strikers, specifically). There are very good players like Saviola, Figueroa, Crespo and Tévez (still too young and stupid, though), but none of them until now has been capable of single-handedly deciding a match, like Ronaldo did against Argentina during the present WC qualifiers when the rest of his team practically didn't do crap. I'm just hoping that, in the future, players like Tévez or Messi will be the answer to this serious problem.

yardley!!!! well anyway, he's right. all teams lose. arsenal didn't quite make to 50 games. even chelsea and barcelona have lost this year. the france final was just a disaster.... like the peru meltdown against argentina.
