Hey guys, i mainly play in the middle and sometiems at the back, i am looking to buy new shoes, but i dont know what to get.

i was interested in the mercurial vapors but they seem more of a striker shoe to me

i also wanted to get the f50+'s, but i am still not sure yet because of my other options

the red kaka predators are also an option

Vapors? f50+'s? Predators? Which show will suit a defensive Midfileder best?

it really makes no difference what you get, just go with what would fit your foot best...i.e. if you have a wide foot, i wouldn't go for vapors.

I would get the preds or F50+s. My opinoin is that vapors are good for forwards, and might hurt your feet when going into a tackle. I like the red preds from what I've seen of them, and the pearl/red F50+s. I don't really like the blue/black ones, but they are ok. I personally play with preds, but you should get the best one for your foot. F50+ gives a few more fit options due to the 3 insoles.....

thats what i did i tried all them on ( azt90III,vapor,preds,f50+) and ended up getting the preds ( becks , and the black both fg) and i lucked out in gettin the mist vapors fo 50$ canadian so i had to pick um up..


my opinion try em all on and look for deals and maybe pick up two of those pairs.

ye, i just picked up vapors for 50$ Canadian, deal you cant really resist. I have my Sg boots, now i just need a pari of FG boots

I had the pred's and i really didnt like them there were ok but they didnt have anykind of a shot or long pass and the sizing is different, now that is just imo but i now have the F-50 plus which i am really happy with and which is a tight fit which i love because ive sprained my toe so many times because of kicking the ground with the preds (cause of the size) and i can kick beautiful driven balls with pace and keeps them lower.. but it's all up to you tho.. gl ;)

any chance you could share where you guys got vapors at that price? i've been looking around and i can't seem to find anywhere on the net which sells mist blues for that price. if its in canada, any chance you could pick another pair up and sell them to me? i'll pay for shipping too.

it doesn't really matter what position you play in. what matters is if your comfortable with your boots. try them all and get what you like best. don't go for the popularity rate of the boot, that'll just get you screwed if your not really happy with it. here are my comments on each boot:

the vapors are really light and feel like your wearing nothing. the leather is really thin though, and you can really feel the ball. the same applies with tackles, you can REALLY feel them.

the pulses are a bit heavy and tight on the sides, but a still a good boot. the leather is pretty durable although the front of the boot tends to wear out pretty easily. the leather started to peel after 3-4 games on mine. the curling thingies work too.

the F50+'s are really good boots. they're better than the pulses imo. they're really comfortable and light, although not as light as the vapors. if you've got wide feet, screw the other pairs. get these.

if your looking for comfortable boots though, i'd also recommend the supernova's. they're going cheap now and they're good for people with wide feet. king of comfort for me. its got loads of cusioning and its really wide and gives the feet breathing space.

i agree with you about supernovas but wtf ...like your wearing nothing. the leather is really thin though... vapors arent leather- did you know that or you ment material? :p

isn't nikeskin a form of processed and treated leather? thats what i thought so thats what i put.

on your vapors, where in the US did you get them from? or where did the person you got them from get them? :confused: my gran lives in the colorado area. i told her to look around, but from what i'm hearing, the mist blues are only going that low in canada. i still have my fingers crossed though.

no nikeskin is pretty much vinyl! its just a really good quality and very light synthetic

I got them from somebody, and im not sure what the exact location is because i forgot. Also where did you ehar that the Mist Bllue is going cheap in Canada and for how much?!?!?
