Season 24, I put the minimum and got up to inadequate. I started putting in 10k and I'm now up to passable. Will 10k get me up to solid or do I need to put in 25 k to get into the solid and excellent levels?

im pretty sure that you did need to go to 20k to get to solid and excellent

Yes, you can't get to excellent unless you invest the max

it seems pointless now... but investing in the youth squad is most important... it can save you and earn you lots of money... i've pulled 2 trainees in 2 weeks... i just upgraded coach so now with any luck i'll be out of debt immediately cuz my youth squad produced 3 sellable players this season...

Can you get to solid on 10K?
I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that you can, but it takes a really long time. It would probably take a season+ to get it to pop from passable to solid at 10k (similar to how it takes about a full season to go from solid to excellent at 20k).

Probably another 20-25 weeks.
Once you hit Solid, it takes at least a full season (16 weeks) to hit Excellent.
