hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Last time I checked it was 1-0 too. Of course, I didn't want either team to win, but if one of 'em had to lose, I'm glad it was the RS.

Another nice thing about Chelsea's win is that this season's 6th place team now gains a spot in the UEFA Cup.
Unless the Toffees suffer a total meltdown, a spot in European competition is basically guaranteed -- our first since we were in the Cup Winner's Cup back in 95-96.

I was actually cheering for Liverpool, i'd have much rather had seen them win it weirdly enough, i guess it's my love of cheering for the Underdogs. If only Biscan could have scored that last gasp header....things would have been a damn sight different.
Chelsea realised how lucky they were to win it, when you saw Drogba prancing round screaming, oh the relief. But then again as all the big teams say when they don't win it...It's only the Tin cup.

Yuck.
The only time I cheer for Liverpool is when they're in European competion -- EPL pride and all that.
Otherwise, they are my least favorite team by far in the Premier League, and, in fact, are a main reason why I started rooting for Everton to begin with.

May i ask why that is VW? I would have thought living in Texas would really give you no reason to hate them.

I don't hate the team, I hate their fans. At least, the ones I know, I don't like. It's their arrogance that really turns me off.

You should come down to the Mad Dog and see the Chelsea fans...good god. They were actually cheering when Dudek went down and needed attention on Sunday.

i was thinking about going there on Sunday, but changed my mind? Aren't they the only ones who show EPL constantly? Since you are from SF, where else do you go?
P.S. Are the Chelsea fans there that bad?

They sound like a lovely bunch. I don't know many Chelsea fans, except for those here...

I try to go there quite a bit...they're the only place that consistently shows matches every weekend.
Yes, the Chelsea fans there are that bad.

I wouldn't say I hate Liverpool -- I just dislike them quite strongly.
I became a soccer fan back when I lived in England for a few years, and back then Liverpool, Man Utd, & Everton were some of the top teams.
And while I wasn't as much of an Everton fan then as I am now, Everton was my favorite of the three and ManUtd had Georgie Best -- my favorite player -- on it. That left Liverpool odd man out; and my dislike of them only intensified as they began to dominate the league more and more.

Fair dues, i hate Chelsea and Arsenal more than anyone in the League because they're more of a threat than Liverpool nowadays ;), plus as there is more Chelsea and Arsenal fans there's a greater idiot to cool ratio than other teams.
