I found it in the internet. It may also be a fake, but I don't think so, because last year there were already pictures of the golden away jersey two months before it was offically presented. The design looks quite interesting, the final color can look different because the printing quality is not the best.
You can see that it has a collar like the old one AND cords or buttons...
The shorts and socks will be white.
An interesting detail is also the Bayern badge, the new shirt seems to have the "oldschool" badge like e.g this jersey:

It looks a bit boring to me, and I don't like the 'oldschool' design. I would have liked a jersey with stripes or a diagonal stripe, but the all-red is not very original. :(

Thanks LordR:
I still hate white collars ;)
We should have a design contest here.
I know this is a rip off from Celtic. Instead of green have red stipes?????

I would like to have a white diagonal-stripe and the adidas stripes at the shoulders, white shorts and white socks.

I take it that white diagonal stripe would be over a red body?

Yes, it would be something (relatively) new. The Bundesliga kits are all quite boring, almost no stripes or anything like that..

I am more of a simple pattern type of guy.

To me--there is too much going on in this one

i liked the adidas shirts that the national teams wore at wc94 - like sweden, for eg...
the 3 stripes (short) just coming off the side...
but i do like our kit the way it is... one of the best kits for bayern since the grey/silver one from years ago ;)

i think that shirt is quite awful,i especially hate the old badge thing,is crap, hope to god thats not the final design,i would prefer all red with white underarm ovals if u know what i means, that stretch onto the lower sides of the shirt and a rounded white neck, similar to our old champions league shirt

Hopefully this is the real deal. At least we could potentially get rid of the all one color scheme. That only works when a team wears all white. BTW, I am still stuck on last years away kit that Rummi dubbed the "ballet in white". I am impartial to the old school badge except is was on the CL kit that we were wearing when we lost to you know who in '99.
Maybe they can bring back the vertical big red & white stripes (a la Beckenbauer, Mueller & co.) as a retro kit.
Unfortunately, Adidas' uniforms have not been very appealing lately. I have never been a great fan of Nike soccer merchandise, but I think their kits are currently better. Hopefully Adidas will step up to the plate for 2006.

Funny... the one part I like IS the old badge! Oh well, to each his own, right?
However, I completely agree with you about the CLS kit from a while back. I was thinking something more like a ringer t-shirt with the rounded solid color collar and armband (??), as well as the bottom of the jersey hem. This could be white like in 2001, but I honest prefer navy like a year ago. To me, that was the sharpest kit of all time (red shirt, navy short, navy/red socks)... although I must admit the all black is pretty intimidating as well.
Please just abolish the gold!!!

That was the best away kit... along with the one that featured red and white vertical stripes with a Navy blue stripe at the top across the chest (2000 ???).
That was PHAT!!!

ANOTHER OPTION.....
Something similar to the above color scheme only similar in style to the new DC United Away kit.

I don't know about you guys but I'm liking this design. I've always been a sucker for classic retro jersey deisgns. I hate these modern looking BS designs, especially the new nike jerseys. The old crest makes it a lot classier I think. I'd like the shorts red as well though.

oh-hell. Just put a big picture of Gerd Mueller on the front and Paul Breitner on the back. Think of the hair!!!

Oh please no!!
Looks like Manchester United!!!
The design looks a little too retro especially the badge so I am hesitent to believe this kit is real. If it is fake, it was done really well.

No sheet, mang!!
I say keep the badge, but kill the collar. Add a third color (navy) around a rounded collar, put the white stripes back on the shoulders, navy stripes on the shorts, and keep the socks but make them navy or red. (I know... I am still stuck on the CLS kit from last year! Oh well...)
I don't think this is fake, as it is fairly consistant with the artwork from the Adidas merchandise catelogs for wholesalers.

Yeh,our old Navy/Red home strip was a pretty nice strip,i actually think our current home strip is our best home strip in the past few years,i think i might grow to like our "new" one but the bands which come down from the armpits suck IMO.

"(I know... I am still stuck on the CLS kit from last year! Oh well...)"
that kit was awesome. the scarlety red. the navy. guh. oh, back in the days when adidas templates rocked nike's socks off. i'd say adidas has slipped this year (i don't dig the pointed 3-stripe), and judging from the adidas-sponsored mls kits, their templates next year will disapoint me as well. this new bayern kit just looks so plain -- not classicly understated like the last two year's home kits.
perhaps the white above the badge is the three championship stars? it doesn't really seem like they are, but i'm hopeing the picture is of such poor quality that they just don't show well. i'd prefer the stars over that retro-shield.
09 Mar 2005, 05:17 PM
Exactly huh... where's the 3 stars Bayern are supposed to proudly wear? I don't see them on the kit... further evidence that hopefully this kit is a farce.
I really hope so because it's so damn ugly!!!

I know I'm the kill joy, but I like the current kits. The home one is very classy and the black away one is frickin sweeeet!

I like the Champions League jersey from the last couple of seasons, like the one I am wearing today!. I am a sucker for retro jereseys and simple designs. I would love to see a nearly all red retro style bayern jersey with a navy blue collar, navy trim around the ends of the sleeves and red shorts w/ blue trim.
