hi :) , my lunar manias have almost frightened :p me of getting white boots because they have stained so easily and the stitching is nearly black. So does white shoe polish actually restore there full potential(sp.).

Also on the topic of white boots which are your favorite out of, lunar manias, new(ish) becks pulse, F50+ Pearl/Red , Air Legend White/Red and Mizuno Morellia Wave(i know to buy the comfiest and best fit i just want to know which you think looks the best)

I used to use that trainer whitening stuff on my white preds that did a really good job of keeping them white. I'd have white boots again because i know that stuff makes them look good. Its just silver etc thats hard work to cover up any kinda of scuffs!

I have lunar manias as well, and they have a fair amount of wear and tear on them now. I am definately going to pick up some of that whitening stuff. Thanks for the recommendation. Also, I like the colors of the new white/blue becks pulse, and don't mind the tongue logo, but the fingerprint is a little over the top. I wish they were more normal pulses, and then becks could just wear the dragon ones. The F50+ pearl/red are nice too, but I don't know how they would look in person.
good thread

Probably the beckham pulses...
I think that the red on the F50+ is so bright that it might get dirty really fast.
I just got the classic black/red sg pulses, and they are nice, but when I need a new pair of fg (when my lunar manias die), I will most likely go for the becks pulse.

I have the Beckham pulse sg. I definately need some of this whitening stuff, as the stitching has gone dark, and I have scuffs all over the toe areas already. Only worn them about 10 times. :( I'm dissapointed in them, but does anybody know where I can buy white scuff cover? By the way, if the boot is synthetic, like ice vapors, you can always use normal household bleach to restore the whiteness. Obviously it will kill leather. :)

lol, ok, they ARE cool
:D
Definately better than the blue/black ones. It's just that internet seller pics tend to be glamorized occasionally. I have heard that the grey pulses look really good in person, but I have not been too impressed with that pics in eurosport. I've been wearing preds for a while now so I prefer them, and that is why I kind of like the becks ones. I'd like to try a pair of F50 or F50+ because I want to feel the difference in the lacing and fit.

the whitening stuff is basically like watered down paint, yes it will cover the stitching, then I suggest using neutral polish made by Punch, the same people who make Dubbin. I use it for my Mystics. It can be used .on any colour of leather then I suggest using Dubbin to soften the leather. Hope this helps.

Footlocker has it. Too bad about your (really sweet) pulses scuffing easily. Using the whitener will hopefully help.
