It's kinda hard to hear, but when the nurse asks EJ if he's gonna faint I think he says "no ma'am, I'm a grown ass man"

Hey, I have the same problem! It's called a vasovagal reflex reaction and it's not mental. Basically, the body reacts physically - i.e., blood pressure plunges - "leading to light-headedness, or vertigo upon needle exposure, along with other autonomic symptoms, e.g., pallor, profuse sweating, nausea." It's not fun.

This video is yet more proof of Heyduck's nerdiness. I thought he was going to demonstrate his stepover right there in the lab

The funny thing is that technically most of them should not be able to give blood. They have strict rules on who can give blood, and one of the rules is that you haven't been to area where malaria is common in the past year. I tried to give blood after Septeber 11 but couldn't because I had spent 2 days in Turkey. I know that you can just lie a la the sorority scandal of last year, but it didn't even occur to me that this would be a problem. Considering a lot of them have been a part of our Concacaf qualifying in Central America and the Carribean they should technically not even be allowed to give blood.

They are not "giving" blood. It's blood work.
They don't collect blood in glass vials for donating. This was for testing purposes.

I don't think they were donating, I believe it was a FIFA drug test. It's interesting that they test blood instead of urine. MLB should take note.

That's one of the best ones they've had yet. My favorite was Taylor. The danger in these though is that you can lose some respect for them, everytime I see clint mathis now I think about him attempting to sing country music in the car and I'm still trying to figure our how EJ didn't know how to work his iPod. I found the directions very straight forward, I understand if Bruce or someone older on the team doesn't get it but EJ's way too young to be computer challenged.

Really odd idea for a video -- how drunk was the person who thought of it? But I thought it was surprisingly funny. Hejduk was great -- I've always that that he looks like the kind of guy who is a real clown, and the video confirmed this impression!

Is it me, or did Benny look like an experienced heroine junkie? "Yeah, there's the vein. Oh yeah!"

This was cute, but I draw the line when they show the prostrate exam.
