South Africa vs. Zimbabwe first test, first day - what a joke. What a farce! I won't post any link here, as you can easily search for it yourself. But keep doing more mismatches like this, and the sport will lose. Exactly the same point I keep hammering about the mismatches, which the Australian posters many times disagree with.

Zimbabwe, Bangladesh should be relegated from top level test status and forced to play each other until they all improve to be promoted to the next level.

I agree with your comments regarding the current Zimbabwe situation. Noone wants to see test matches like this... it's a joke and something needs to be done about it, at least until Zimbabwe gets their act together. I think they should be banned from the Commonwealth until their political situation is resolved, thus banning them from cricket similar to what happened with South Africa.

As for the other part about most Australians disagree, is that referring to the gap betweeen us and the other countries, or something else?

Well, the predictability of most contests which makes it pointless to play in the first place. See the New Zealand - Australia 1 day contests, which were so disappointing.

But what do you expect Australia to do about it? It's not up to us to feel sorry for the other countries, it's up to the other countries to raise their level to beat Australia. We didn't see the West Indies feeling sorry for their opponents when they were dominating the game with their fast bowlers in the 1980's and early 1990's, so why should we?
