Bad news... ESPN finally released which CL game they'll be showing next week - it's Chelsea/Barcelona on ESPN2... so no 2nd leg vs AC Milan...boo!!

Good. Chelsea/Barca will be a better game, and I'd enjoy watching Chelsea get knocked out of the CL much more than watching United get theirs. A defeatest attitude, yes, but I don't think we have much of a chance in Milan, and it's good that ESPN at least pretends to diversify its soccer coverage. If United make it through, they'll certainly show them in the next round, and I haven't gotten to see Barca play all year.

look at this way...at least they are not showing Real Madrid or Lyon. Chelsea vs Barcelona should be enjoyable.

What kind of Man Utd fan doesn't want to watch Man Utd play in the CL? We do to have a good chance because we can sometimes attack well, and we're only down 1-0. If we win 2-0 or 2-1 we go through, 1-0 would be extra time, where we have a good chance. I think United can score 2 goals. Ruud will be ready! Besides all that, don't you remember Milan vs. Deportivo last year, they fell apart at home. If deportivo can do it against a full strength Milan squad we can do it against a Schevchenko-less squad.

I'd rather watch United, but this should be a good one too.

Of course I'd rather watch Manchester United place, but the chances of them showing two successive Man Utd games were virtually zero and like i said, at least they are showing a very good game.

Our game is live on ESPN Deportes on Tuesday if any of you can get it from your cable company. Cox cable offers ESPN Deportes.
The Chelsea game is live on ESPN2.

Dude, I see why you live in Auburn with an attitude like that! Serioulsy, I agree that it will be tough for Man U but with Ruud and Rooney playing at good form, never can tell.

Boneheads. i do want to watch man u in the CL. but i don't get to watch much of the other european teams, and i havent seen barcelona since the champion's world tour. if i can only get one CL match every other week, i wouldn't mind seeing someone besides man u, real, or ac milan, and FSC shows man u at least every other week.

I think we all echo your views that it would be nice to see Chelski get knocked out of the champions league. My problem with what you said is as a Man U supporter I only care about seeing Man U play. I don't want to see any other team regardless of last time I saw them if they are not Man U. Thats whats called being a fan of a team.

and i think you've been watching soccer longer than I have. world cup 2002 was the beginning of my spell. i'm sure eventually i'll settle on just Man U and DC, but right now i just wanna see more, more, more. i havent even worked up a dislike for any team besides arsenal, and that's only due to the people on the BS boards (though there is sweden; hated their nat'l team since i saw them in the WC. ugh...hate sweden.)

I'll be watching the Barca match with the sound off and whenever they update, close my eyes. Then, watch Milan vs ManU with my pro audio towers full blast. I cannot wait. :D
