From the BBC gossip colum:

"Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has made a £300,000 offer for Coventry striker Stern John. (The Sun)"

I guess this would be an improvement since Coventry may be down in league one next year and Sheff United still has some promotion hopes. Of course nothing can happen right now and this is just gossip.

He already transferred once this season.

I thought with the new FIFA rules you couldn't transfer more than once within a calendar year.

Am I mistaken?

Barry Hayles transferred twice within a week.

I think you can't switch countries more than once a year.
