I'm really glad to see Marshall get called in. If he stays healthy and gets fast-tracked for the national team, I could see him challenging for a starting spot in Germany '06. Also glad to see Gaven and Martino thrown back in the mix. Now if we can just get Buddle in there...

I was surprised to see Nat Borchers get the call, but I suppose it's just a camp, and I'm not sure which MLS center backs I would have picked instead of him (Danny Califf?).

Interesting that Jon Busch gets a call, over Johnny Walker and Rimando. Is this Busch's first look with the nats?

No. He's been in camps before. I believe he is un-capped.

Walker is injured.

Another interesting omission is Sanneh -- is he hurt? or is this a sign Bruce is giving up on him as too old?

Yea, how silly of him. We only need one goalie, why does he call in three?

What happen to "Johnny Scab?" I thought there was some diamond in the ruff that was uncovered thanks to the impasse. I thought he was going to Germany. Who was that guy? No matter. Scabs are about convienence not excellence.

Walker is injured.
That, and he sucked last year.

Where is Josh Wolff?

I think he might be left to train with the Wizards leading up to the March 9th Champions Cup game with Saprissa. Then possibly brought in after it? Maybe?

If that's the case, I'm not sure why Kerry was called in, as he was in England not too long ago and couldn't have had much training time with KC. I imagine he'll be back for the game against Saprissa. (hopefully)

I hope Wolff hasn't gotten bit by the injury bug again, but haven't seen anything on the Wizards board to that effect.

Borchers has what it takes, and has the potential to be a very solid player for a very long time. Glad to see him get a shot.

His name is Clyde Simms. Signed by Nowak - DC United, which makes him better than you or I.

Quit bitching.

Stephen Goff is reporting that Ben Olsen will fly back to DC for the CCC game so I presume the same will be true for Zavagnin.

it's ok, he doesn't produce anymore anyway, ...since he scored in the opening game of the WC-2002 qualifying against mexico. I think that was the last goal he scored that i can remember :D

He scored another five goals after the Mexico goal, including the winner in the '02 Gold Cup Final against Costa Rica.
