Found this match link on the BDF site today. (35785950) The match is this weekend.

These two (husband and wife) have been playing since Oct 2002 and now find themselves in the same Series in Ireland.

Both have press annoucements mentioning their rivalry.

The question is guys (and girls, if there are any here), do you think a rivalry such as this could be healthy for your home life? :eek:

I know a couple that plays hattrick as well, they aren't in the same series though.

And the funny thing is...I know them. :) They started The Hattrick College and for a while alot of people were poking fun at them and they were able tot ake the jokes. Knowing them, they will probably be talking smack soon. :D

What is The Hattrick College?

Universities in England are divided into 'colleges' based on areas of study ... sort of analogous to majors here in the states. The most famous of which is Trinity College ... home of the divinity school.

Oxford's Hattrick College is actually the second college in England offering a degree in a football management game. The first was Cambridge's College of Championship Manager Studies.

I dunno... i just feel like I'm the butt of a joke here or something... I have that sinking feeling that someone will pop-up and say WOOSH!!! as in somethings gone over my head... oh well... that's how it usually is with me ;)

It's actually a typo. College should read "Collage".

The Hattrick Collage is a piece of artwork created by securing pieces of paper, fabric or other materials related to Hattrick onto a big poster board.

The married couple in question started it and everyone made fun of them. But now it gets mailed around from HT player to Ht player and tons of people have worked on it ... adding a bit here and there.
