Sorry if this has already been addressed but I've looked around the usual suspect sites and can't find a mention of the second '05 friendly being televised. Buehler?

Has this been confirmed?
Also, the match will be going up against the NCAA second round basketball March Madness coverage on CBS.

This is completely false, I watch those channels and care alot about March madness, I probably wear my thumb out clicking back and forth on the 19th. Don't be so quick to use stereotypes.

I agree with you.
But, using stereotypes quickly is the best, and most fun way to use them.

Of course, this is BS after all. ;)

You couldn't be more wrong. And depending on who's playing in the second round at the time, I may just watch more of that game than of the United State's meaningless friendly game.

I'm with Stinky.
So maybe there are two groups (at least) of USMNT fans :
1. Those who love soccer above all else, and any other sport is a distant second. Like Stinky and me.
2. Those who are such sport nutcases that they watch every televised game they can. These are the folks who feel out of the loop if they're even an hour late to watching the latest Sportscenter. I play soccer in a rec league with one of these.

if your two groups are accurate descriptions, then the idea is to have those in group 1 not be upset that group 2 exists, and vice versa. plus all of those groups in between and otherwise that you don't mention.

I like basketball, it's my second-favorite sport. But I sure as hell won't miss even a second of a US NT game (even a friendly) in favor of b-ball. US NT games are too few and far between for me to miss them to watch a sport of which you can see several games and tons of highlights every day. Following our national team is like a religion - if you miss a game and you don't have a good reason, it's a sin. ;)

FSC now has this listed on their official "next week" pdf programming schedule so I suppose we can assume this is confirmation.

(of note, the Colombia game is not listed anywhere on either FSC schedule).
