C'mon you Addicks! Let's get all three points at the Cottage shall we?

A good lineup at Boro on Sunday. Thomas still more effective on the left. Konchesky looked better than Thomas on the right side. Murphy looked off. He was giving the ball away right and left. But Kishishev was a monster. Nice to see someone actually continue to dribble the ball whether being marked or not.

My lineup:

Kiely
Young - El-K - Perry - HH
Konchesky - Holland - Kishishev - Murphy - Thomas
Jeffers

Subs: Andersen, Bartlett, Fortune, Euell, JJ

Give Jeffers a chance to show himself again.

Thoughts?

how can you sit bartlett? he has been on fire, well on as much fire as a striker for charlton can be.

I like the lineup against boro, but would've liked to have seen a defensive sub for thomas much earlier than when they brought on JJ.

doug,

sorry. bartlett has played well. you are right. he is now the leading scorer. and his assist to holland was exactly what he should be doing every game.

my mistake.

i think that both thomas and murphy should have come off earlier. we didn't get that second goal until danny boy went off. and even when he was on he seemed to be off. he was giving the ball away right and left. he looked tired. i hope he didn't have that virus that thomas was still recovering from.

it is clear that thomas should play on the left.

who else could be brought on to play good defense and help in the attack? sam?

could el k play right back? not that young is playing bad, but if you want a defender to get forward putting el k on the right might be easier then from center back. HH can get forward and has been making nice supporting runs, and how did he get so far up when he made the pass to bartlett for the 2nd score v boro.. amazing!

now that i think about it, i'm not sure if i like the perry/el k center back combo, not much size there. not down on their individual skills but the combo of them playing together.

oh if you look on the fulhamusa site, I answered a few questions about the upcoming match. hopefully it doesn't look like I ripped kiely, i wrote that before the boro game and what could've possibly been the best goal keeper performance of the year in the prem.. and there is even a thumbnail pic of me wearing a fulham scarf (oops) with the riverside stand at the cottage in the background. charlton was playing the next day, so i had to support my boy carlos. I now ask forgiveness from all charlton supporters worldwide.

c'mon addicks, get 3 points!

i'll be in tahoe this weekend, so maybe I'll make a wager on this one.

Well, I'm a bit bummed. I will not even get to listen to this match.

My wife will be in class, so I must be the Brownie [Girl Scouts] dad for a fair my daughter is attending.

I wish I had a way to at least tape the radio broadcast and listen to it later.

Any predictions?

This from Sky Sports web site:

<< All of Fulham's defeats in The Premiership this term have come in runs of three consecutive losses - they have lost the last two. The Addicks have not scored at Fulham in the three previous Premiership visits. >>

Sounds like Fulham 0 - 1 Charlton Athletic. Addicks score in the last half hour and hang on for the three points.

Disappointing loss.

Curbs seems intent on staying to form away from home even when the game could be taken with a little risk involved.
