Pierre - as is all the USMNT staff - are really nice people.

Yes he is a nice guy. Just met him briefly but didn't know what aspect he played on the team.

Good article. Just keep that team in shape and hopefully he gets those U-20s in line.

He seems to be really great. A nice weapon to have on our side.

Pierre is pure class. I have so much respect for him.

So much respect that I'm willing to risk negative rep by pimping his website:

www.soccerconditioning.net

Personally, I think it's a steal to have someone with his knowledge design a soccer fitness regimen and charge so little.

My younger brother has used his training program and his fitness is amazing. He has just landed a professional team in his native Bolivia. His coach is so impressed with my bro's fitness and athleticism--especially at the altitude. All of this is really due to Pierre's program. Believe me, I think Pierre is incredible. The dude totally knows his stuff, and what is most impressive is that he is always willing to clarify or answer any question--even when he's in the middle of doing his real job for the national team.

I have complete faith that Pierre is preparing the team well for the qualifier in Mexico. Seriously, with him behind the fitness--altitude will NOT be a factor against the USMNT.

Sorry can u inform me about this one?

BTW: the coach was in a video a while back on Ussoccer.com about getting the players fit for the Trinidad match.

I believe we have alot of that match to thank him for.

We didnt have alot of time and our players performed and were fit.

He has a small picture on the top of his website of him and Bruce. Is that a picture of Bruce pumping his fist in Korea after we scored on Portugal? If so...that's excellent marketing.

I think he has no class. Taunting the fans in Toronto during a RBNY v Toronto FC game. Not very professional.

What is the story here? Links? References? What led up to the incidents? Sorry, but I don't think I really want to take your word for it, especially having known Pierre for years.

This is an angry Toronto FC fan who did a search of BS for Pierre (why else would this thread appear?). The Canadian beer chuckers are mad that the Red Bulls players and apparently Pierre, dared to answer back to their chants during Wednesday's game. To which the hapless fans had to use beer to defend themselves.

I don't throw things on the pitch, and don't condone such action.
He had been taunting the fans for most of the game. I was there, and witnessed it.
I was too far away to shout anything at him, and sat amazed that he was able to get away with such childish antics without the linesmen getting involved.
If he taunted a European crowd the way we was taunting the supporters in Toronto, there would be a riot.
Do you really think it's appropriate for the visiting trainer to give you the finger while you sit in your seat cheering for your team?

Actually I never threw beer or anything else and never would (except a seat cushion after our first goal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RusaXDHT86w). I did yell a lot of insults though - I was there as a fan, it's one of the things to be expected. The players, coaches, referees and even the trainers should show some professionalism while they're working. It's pretty bush-league and unprofessional for a trainer to 'get into it' with the fans.

Go away. This is the USMNT board. Pierre is no longer associated with the USMNT. No one cares what he does with the Red Bulls, but its nice to see that he got your panties in a tizzy. The guy was insulting you in his second language and you couldn't take it.

Take your crap north of the border and start a Pierre thread in your home team section, instead of searching Big Soccer for any mention of him.

I take it you're Pierre's life partner?

He didn't say a word actually. Stop guessing.

This thread should be closed if he's no longer with the USMNT.
