Haven't seen this posted anywhere, but I caught last weeks epsiode. Pretty good, had interviews with the National team in preparation for TnT and highlights. Previews of MLS. Here is the program listing from GOL
Monday 7:30 p.m.
Thirty minutes dedicated to the best that American soccer has to offer. Phil Schoen and our team of experts will bring you all of the action from Major League Soccer as the league celebrates its tenth season. Defending champions DC United and up-and-coming star Freddy Adu will seek to defend their MLS Cup Championship against all comers, including new arrivals Chivas USA and Real Salt Lake. A-League highlights will also be featured on “American Soccer” as well as coverage of the NCAA.
The U.S. Men’s and Women’s National teams haven’t been left out: “American Soccer” will cover U.S. Soccer in depth, with highlights, features and exclusive interviews from senior teams and youth soccer as well.

One thing, hopefully they worked out the audio problems, as none of the english interview audio came through, but overall a great show.

I believe GolTV is primarily a spanish language channel. They have an english dub, but I would assume this show by default, like all the others, is in spanish.

Yes, but if you are directv channel 614, it's broadcast as an English channel. And, as Phil speaks English, I would expect the show to be in English, either broadcast or dub.

I've gotten English as the default on everything with DirecTV, but the Spanish feed has also worked for every program I've watched.

There are some threads on GolTV in the Business and Marketing folders. I think most GolTV content is available on DirecTV on 614 and 4something. 614 is all English; the 4 something channel I thought was supposed to be in Spanish, but I seem to get it in English as well.

Wow. I didn't know that Eddie Gaven was with Landon at LEV.
OK - if you are going to watch the show, don't read any further.
That was screwy, that they had US U20 highlights when Phil Schoen was talking about LD assisting in a goal. Then, rather than editting it - he just continued with the LEV highlights and repeated himself....
Better than nothing - but not the highest quality that I would expect.

GOL on 614 (in So. Fla. at least) must have happened very recently. There was nothing on 614 before. I was away from the TV for the last two weeks. Then I saw this thread, checked, and I've got Deportivo hosting Real Madrid. In English! Strange magic. American Soccer replay coming up at 1:30 AM EST.

Yeah, I think 614 is the new GolTV channel. DirecTV started showing it on the 26th I believe.

Yes, that was certainly embarassing for them. I really appreciated the highlights from Donovan and Keller's games this past weekend, though, and if they continue to show yanks abroad highlights, I will tune in every week. It would be great if they could show us highlights from some of the yanks abroad who we rarely, if ever, get to see in action for their club, like Gooch, Gibbs, and recently Philipakos....

I've got this show on SeasonPass. Great highlights but needs some work on the editing side.

True.... I agree that the latest "American soccer" of four days ago had horrible errors... The first showing was at 7:30 , which i assume is the one watched by most... Most, if not all the errors were fixed for the repeat later that night, but still, there should be no excuses nor justification for having a program with such errors, when one can assume they have at least a day or two in advance to work the problems out in the editing room.... Anyway, at least they had some nice footage... and coverage is sure to get more interesting as the US-Mexico match approaches

Dishnetwrk carries both channels the english and the spanish versions.
The games from spain and Italy with english are excellent as you get the English broadcast with very good announcers who know the players and the leauges, whereas the Latin leauges are horrible in English but great in Spanish. The Spanish leauge announcers are from South or Latin America and are in a studio here in the US or elsewhere. For whatever reason they don't carry the Spanish broadcast from Spain but dub over it. So the English one is alot better. The soocer show if done in english originally is the way to go.

No, they're from LA.
The only Canadian based show on FSC is the FSC Report which is broadcast from Winnipeg.
