Hello all, hope you can help me out.

Next weekend I will be travelling from my native Chicago to Munich. Bayern has a home match against Werder Bremen and I think it would be great to see a match in person.

I don't do well with German (which scares me a little for the trip, but that is neither here nor there, I guess)...but I can tell from BM's website there are still tickets available for the match.

Does anyone have any idea of a good method to secure tickets short of hoping they are still available on match day and buying them at the stadium?

You can go directly to the stadium for tix or buy them at the Bayern Munich shop at the train station. I've bought tix there and the salesmen speak English. You can get directly to the stadium from the train station (located in the center of town) by metro (I think it's the green line). The German word for stadium is "Stadion"; and the Munich metro system is not that big, so look for it on the metro map. I highly recommend you go to the train station and buy your ticket there. Hope this helps.

Well, usually I would say that Bayern-Werder is a game that should be already sold out at game-day but due to bad weather maybe that won't be the case this week.
But it's risk waiting till game-day I'd say.
