In less than two days we play in Freiburg, and nobody is talking about this game. To tell you all the truth after Tuesday I couldn’t think about nothing else but the Arsenal game, but hey we need to beat Freiburg!!

We will ;) Freiburg is on an injury plaque whereas Bayern can pick a full squad. :D We'll crush them by 2 or 3 goals.

Yea theres a flue epidemic running through Freiburg, it ain't doing them any good. But remember what happened against Bielefeld? I hope thats a one time thing but in either case Bayern will be the clear winners of this game. My line up would be:

Kahn- Liza, Lucio, Kovac, Sagnol- Hargreaves, Brazzo, Frings, Schweinie- Makaay, Claudio.

I don't know if Ballack will be back, if he is, then Bastian will have to wait to come in second half again.

According to Bayern site they are still unsure about Ballack though he will probably make the squad.

I think Bayern are in a rhythm now. Piza's on fire and Makaay is overdue. I assume everyone's confident right now...they know Schalke aren't liable to slip up soon. Then again...Bayern might "pull a Bayern" and play at (or below) the level of their competitors. But we did that against Arbie, I think we got that horrible winter loss out of our system (kinda like last year's loss to Aachen...that still makes me want to übergeben). Prediction...Bayern 3 Freiburg 0.

Well yeah...but then he didn't score ANY against Arsenal

A Bayern game without a Makaay goal is like a day without sunshine.

I think my standards are rather high...

Scorpio

You scored a 6 of 9, which is actually pretty good.

What this means???
I will have to consult the Necronomican, a vacuum cleaner manual, and Penthouse Forum to see what I can come up with.

I agree - they should throw Deisler out there and see what the boy does.

Their defenders kept close eye on him making him to run much wider on the pitch. Many times i saw him run all the way back to the left to help Lizarazu to stop the opponents' players. I think Liza is still not his best, he left too much gap at times :( . Makaay had a great setup for Frings to face 1 on 1 with Lehman, didnt he

i thought liza had one of his best games for us vs the ars...

he moved up pretty well, his positioning and recovery was good, and he wasnt afraid and did well on one-on-ones... despite his lack of speed

I hope this game will see some more improvement in offense. In the arsenal game, we weren't good enough in terms of buildup play up front. We gave away the ball to often, cheaply which shouldn't be the case. We didn't play as well as in Dortmund game, maybe because Ze roberto, our main creative player, was inconsistent, and frings is not the leader of the team like Ballack who can drive everyone forward. Our team looks solid on the back but still have plenty of room to improve in offense, and if we can do that, hardly there's a team we fear. I just wish one day soon Deisler gets back to his usual form;) C'on, we've been waiting too long

1) Heineken, but this will probably change once I spend more time in Europe. I liked Augustiner...
2) Fargo...followed by Blood Simple and O Brother Where Art Thou
3) Tough one...umm...I'll go with G.E. Lessing
4) Adidas, no question
5) Shiva, no doubt
6) Gloves, naturally
7) Latitude
8) Haven't seen any Bruce Lee movies....!
9) Mustard...(scharf)

Lineups -

FC Bayern:

Oliver Kahn
Bixente Lizarazu
Lucio
Robert Kovac
Willy Sagnol
Zé Roberto
Martin Demichelis
Sebastian Deisler
Hasan Salihamidzic
Claudio Pizarro
Roy Makaay

Looks like a diamond with Deisler in the creative middle role. Demichelis sure must be happy getting to play 3 games in a row.

From what I'm hearing Freiburg are attacking a lot.

Freiburg have always played attacking football eventhough they aren't very good at it.
