French outfit Rennes have reportedly joined the hunt to land AaB star Rasmus Wurtz.
The promising midfielder has impressed this term and has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, with Marseille amongst those credited with an interest.
It would appear France is the likeliest destination, as Wurtz admits he is impressed with the standard of Ligue 1 football.
"I haven't heard anything, but French football attracts me and it would of course be interesting," Wurtz told Onside.dk.

I think Martel did not have much choice as Utaka told the chairman in a meeting that he would leave Lens after the 2005/2006 season when his contract was completed. I think it would have been a mistake not to sell as we would have got nothing or, at best, only a token amount for him last month.

LOL, are we gonna act and fire Bölöni if we're back on winning ways ? Not that it is unprecedented in French football...
I say bring back the Breton where he belongs : Breton un jour, Breton toujours !

If Frei and Utaka were both having great years then Rennes would be much higher in the standings. Both have had sub par under achieving seasons so far.

Rennes is a better job than Rangers. Rennes have a good team and Rangers are a mess. The Rennes owner is willing to spend money that is a given and I dont think Rangers are healthy finacially. You are only as good as your players and if I was Le Guen I'd choose Rennes or Rangers.

Why would LeGuen choose either? He'll be coaching France after the World Cup. 12 matches a year, great pay, there will be no better job for PLG.

Le Guen isnt some boy genius. He failed at Rennes because he didnt have good players. He succeeded at Lyon because he had good players.
