I swear I heard that Ze had signed, or was closeto signing, a new contract.

Check out this article (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpYjk0aWtjBF9TAzk1ODYzNTkwBHNlYwN0aA--?slug=afp-fblgerbayerneurc1zerobertoko&prov=afp&type=lgns)

I'm really surprised to hear this. I have heard about Kuffour leaving, and maybe Linke.

Any one got any info or ideas?

I guess those are the 12 million dollar questions ;)
Hell--even Deisler could go (or at least on loan), which I think would also reduce the wage bill. Rau as well!.

Personally, I think that the team (according to this article) can afford to sign one of the two. Robert Kovac seems to be more valuable as of now. He has formed an impressive partnership with Lucio and seems to be getting better with each match. He is the one we should concentrate on.

As much as I love to watch Ze Roberto (quickest left foot in Germany), he just isn't consistent enough to warrant hanging onto, IF FCB is that strapped for cash to sign him. I would NOT want to see him go, but as the article says... its all about the $$$$$.

That's only if the local psychiatric ward decided to hold a football tournament and he decided to take part, assuming of course the sight of a football doesn't spark his suicidal tendencies anymore.

Better to cash in on him now before his contract expires and decides to retire from football.

This is why Bayern wants to make its own TV deal. The TV money for the Bundesliga is peanuts behind what the EPL gets.

Which makes it even more hilarious that an English team has won the Champ League once.

I guess Ze will be leaving after the season. Spain (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=afp-fblgerspabayern&prov=afp&type=lgns)
looks to be the destination.

That's one way to keep the finances in control.
