There weren't any qualifiers in Seattle last go-round. There was some talk about having the Mexico match at Safeco Field--the one that ultimately went to Columbus. Probably a good thing it didn't happen, as we enjoyed a 6.8 earthquake the morning of the match. And the part of town around the stadium suffered the most damage.

That said, I don't think any decisions have been made, outside of the Birmingham match.

There will be CONCACAF Gold Cup matches at Qwest Field in July. But they haven't set up the groups for that yet.

I very highly doubt it, but with USSF ya' never know. I think the Gold Cup matches is the only bone being thrown in all reality. Hey! Sounders are playing Sunderland this Summer though. That should be pretty cool.

Sounders-Sunderland might even draw 4000, depending on the vagaries of the Sounders Promotion Machine®. After all, the Mariners are in Toronto that night.

I'd be surprised if you see a qualifier west of the Mississippi, unless it's at HDC.

Looks like SLC is a spot, certainly west of the Ole Miss, but in the 19th century. ;)

I'll happily eat those words. A Saturday match in SLC is a very manageable trip from Seattle. Just have to bring my own booze, right? :)
